FAQ / Appointment & Deposit Policies

Drawings

Your drawing will be ready for you to see on the day of your appointment. We do not send drawings via email or have anyone come in for a preview. We are more than happy to make simple alterations to the design during your scheduled appointment time. If you have changed your mind about the subject matter or want drastic changes that were not communicated in your initial appointment request, this will count as an entirely new design and may require another deposit as well as a new appointment, at the artist’s discretion.

Appointment & Deposit policy

To secure the appointment time and date offered to you, a deposit is required. Deposits cover lost wages, drawing time and time that may have gone to another client in the event of cancellation or no show. Your deposit will be applied the day that your tattoo or piercing is completed. All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. A deposit will be forfeited in full in the case of:​

  • I do not appear for my tattoo/piercing appointment (No call, no show).

  • I cancel or reschedule an appointment without giving at least 48 hours’ notice.

  • I arrive 20 minutes late or more for the appointment.

  • I reschedule 2 or more times for any sessions of the same tattoo/piercing, regardless of notice.

  • I fail to reschedule a new appointment within 30 days of a cancelled appointment.

  • I arrive at a tattoo/piercing appointment without a physical government-issued identification (i.e. state ID, driver’s license, passport, military ID).

  • I am under the legal age (18) without a legal guardian present.

  • I am noticeably under the influence of a substance that may cause inebriation.

  • I am physically unable to be tattooed or pierced due to skin condition/damage (sunburn, abrasions, scarring, etc..).

  • I understand that any changes to the agreed upon tattoo/piercing may change the agreed upon price.

  • I understand that my artist may have to reschedule at any time without notice, but the artist will honor your deposit by moving your scheduled appointment date.

  • I realize my tattoo artist/piercer is busy and it’s my responsibility to contact Bitterroot Ink, LLC via text/ voicemail/ or Email to reschedule. Failure to do so will result in you losing your Deposit.

  • If the artist has commenced work on the design and the client elects not to proceed for any reason, the client shall be responsible for payment of the time invested in the drawing. The deposit may be applied toward this cost or forfeited at the artist’s discretion.

  • There are no refunds on gift cards.
